You are invited to open your heart to the beauty of the healing Light reflected in radiant, luminous art. May you feel the loving Light in original paintings, greeting cards of some original paintings, or by requesting a special drawing made specifically for your specific intention…all of which are available for purchase. The art displayed in my website is meant to inspire people when they are confronted with serious health issues or personal crises in their lives. Whether the pain is physical, emotional, psychological, or spiritual, take control by beginning to seek other modes of healing; do not give into despair. By the very act of researching spiritual healing art you have taken a giant step into looking for healing from Within. If you are ill, after careful discernment, by all means follow the advice given to you by your physician. This spiritual healing art is meant to accompany your traditional health care, not to replace it. But, I encourage you to look to the deeper message of your Soul. My hope is that by sharing what I have learned these past ten years in this form of healing, you will be encouraged to follow your own unique prompting from your Inner Voice—from the part that is greater than you are and it is Good. My hope for you is to encourage your seeking to better hear the God within you. By taking the time to listen with an open heart in silent meditation with that Inner Voice it is possible to be healed.
Sometimes the healing of your physical body is not possible, but prayers/meditation/holding in the Light gives you strength, peace, and calm that supports this part of your own personal unique journey; to know that in the saddest most trying moments, you are not alone. The noise and distractions of the outer world make it hard to hear the Guidance or to feel the Presence.
Often prayers/meditation/holding in the Light heals our physical bodies. From the first diagnosis of breast cancer, I knew that my healing might not be a physical healing. The healing could be to prepare me to die in peace and acceptance. However, I wanted to continue my journey in this life for my children and not to live even one moment in fear, but in JOY. Although the journey through recovering from breast cancer was fraught with pain and uncertainties, this journey was mostly of joy because of my intimacy with the Light, which far, far outweighed the pain and fear of cancer. In addition to drawing consistently each evening for 20 to 40 minutes without fail for three years, I had a mastectomy, chemo therapy, and took the drug tamoxifen for five years. Each evening on one side of the paper, I wrote a letter to God asking for help with whatever weighed heavily on my heart. I may have been in pain, fear, despair, anger, but writing my specific need was my first act. After writing down my need, I turned over the paper and started to draw with whatever color crayon or colored pencil I was attracted to and drew whatever shapes and forms I was prompted. I let go of any preconceived ideas of what I should be drawing; the point was to simply follow as I was being led and to honor that I was being guided by the loving Light. When the drawing was completed, I looked at for a long time and placed it near my bed so that it would be the last thing I would see before turning out the light and the first image to follow me through the next demanding day. I have continued this practice over ten years whenever I am in need. I have taught others this practice and many people find that it has made a difference in their spiritual lives, as well as during difficult times of need.
I invite you to purchase greeting cards of my spiritual healing art to share these healing images with others. Also, original art is available for purchase. In your quiet moments, I encourage you to absorb these healing images; to feel the beautiful intentions to heal; to feel the power of the original prayers that started with the request to God and then being expressed in a drawing or painting. Underlying all paintings is my prayer to All That Is for love, peace, calm, and healing, which can be experienced by many when looking at an image. Note: There are various
names for the Inner Voice, but what speaks most to me is the God of All Creation
or Light, which is all encompassing for me. Other names often used are Presence,
Beloved, Divine, All There Is, I am, Creator, Lord, Goddess, Yahweh, Jesus, Buddha,
Muhammad, Father, Mother, Inner Voice, Goodness, The Beyond, Allah, The One,
Universal Mind, God and many others. Website design by Wyoming Network, Inc. |
